Muse - Muscle museum ( 1999 )
Muscle museum
She had something to confess to
But you don't have the time so look the other way
You will wait untill it's over
To reveal what you've never shown her
Too little much to late
Can you see that I am needing and begging for so much more
Than you could ever give
I don't want you to adore me
Don't want you to ignore me
When it pleases you
I'll do it on my own
I have played in every toilet
But you still want to spoil it
To prove I've made a big mistake
Too long trying to resist it
You've just gone and missed it
It's escaped your world
Can you see that I am needing and begging for so much more
Than you could ever give
I don't want you to adore me
Don't want you to ignore me
When it pleases you
I'll do it on my own
I'll do it on my own

Muse - Showbiz ( 1999 )
Muse - Showbiz (Live at Nulle Part Ailleurs 2000)
Controlling my feelings for too long
Controlling my feelings for too long
Enforcing our darkest souls to unfold
Enforcing our darkest souls to unfold
Pushing us into self destruction
Pushing us into self destruction
They make me
Make me dream your dreams
They make me
Make me scream your screams
Trying to please you for too long
Trying to please you for too long
Rivers of greed you wallow
Rivers of greed you wallow
Rivers of greed you wallow
Rivers of greed you wallow
They make me
Make me dream your dreams
They make me
Make me scream your screams
Controling my feelings for too long
Controling my feelings for too long
Enforcing our darkest souls to unfold
Enforcing our darkest souls to unfold
Pushing us into self destruction
Pushing us into self destruction
They make me
Make me dream your dreams
They make me
Make me scream your screams

Muse - Natural disaster ( Akkustik )
Muse - Natural disaster
Conforming on a monday
Too often and too cold
But you aren't even listening
Because you are just
Too old to feel an earthquake
Or too cool to even care
But you aren't even listening
So why should I?
You are
A natural disaster
And I've wanted you too much
And now I'm gonna lose
I've wanted you too much
And now I've gotta choose
You're the cause of all this
And I'm sick of trying to please you
And you're gonna feel my emotions coming
Because you're the world
Like a broken damn you're empty
And all that's left are the sticks and stones
That were built by other people
And it really shows
But you aren't even listening
Because you are just
Too old to feel an earthquake
Or too cool to even care
But you aren't even listening
So why should I?
You are
A natuaral disaster
And I've wanted you too much
And now I'm gonna lose
I've wanted you too much
And now I've gotta choose
You're the cause of all this
And I'm sick of trying to please you
And you're gonna feel my emotions coming
Because you're the world

Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel - Sebastian ( 1974 )
Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel - Sebastian
Radiate simply, the candle is burning so low for me
Generate me limply, I can't seem to place your name, cherie
To rearrange all these thoughts in a moment is suicide
Come to a strange place, we'll talk over old times we never spied
Somebody called me Sebastian
Somebody called me Sebastian
Work out a rhyme
Toss me the time
Lay me, you're mine
And we all know, oh yeah
Your Persian eye sparkle, your lips ruby blue never speak a sound
And you, oh so gay, with Parisian demands, you can run-around
Your view of society screws up my mind like you'll never know
Lead me away, come inside, see my mind in kaleidoscope
Somebody called me Sebastian
Somebody called me Sebastian
Mangle my mind
Love me sublime
Do it in style
We all know, oh yeah
You're not gonna run, babe, we've only just begun, babe, to compromise
Slagged in a Bowery saloon, love's a story to serialise
Pale angel face, your eye-shadow and glitter is outasite
No courtesan could begin to decipher your beam of light
Somebody called me Sebastian
Somebody called me Sebastian
Dance on my heart
Laugh, swoop and dart
la-di-di-da
we know you all, yeah

Oh ja, der Song wurde in meiner Familie oft gespielt. Und er wirkt immer noch *frier...Gänsehaut überzieht meinen Körper*
Ich steuer auch mal einen bei:
Gary Moore - Still got the blues
Used to be so easy to give my heart away
but I've found out the hard way is a price you have to pay
I found out that love was no friend of mine
I should have known time after time
So long it was so long ago
but I've still got the blues for you
Used to be so easy to fall in love again
I've found out the hard way it's a road that leads to pain
I've found that love was more than just a game
to play and to win but you lose just the same
So long it was so long ago
but I've still got the blues for you
So many years since I've seen your face
but here in my heart there's an empty space you used to be
So long it was so long ago
but I've still got the blues for you
though the days come and go
there is one thing I know
I've still got the blues for you

Cat Stevens - Morning has broken
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7ESHjYat9rk
Morning has broken like the first morning
blackbird has spoken like the first bird
praise for the singing praise for the morning
praise for them springing fresh from the world
Sweet the rain's new fall sunlit from heaven
like the first dewfall on the first grass
praise for the sweetness of the wet garden
sprung in completeness where his feet pass
Mine is the sunlight mine is the morning
born of the one light eden saw play
praise with elation praise every morning
god's recreation of the new day
Morning has broken like the first morning
blackbird has spoken like the first bird
praise for the singing praise for the morning
praise for them sprining fresh from the world

Depeche Mode - Home
Depeche Mode - Home
Here is a song
From the wrong side of town
Where I'm bound
To the ground
By the loneliest sound
That pounds from within
And is pinning me down
Here is a page
From the emptiest stage
A cage or the heaviest cross ever made
A gauge of the deadliest trap ever laid
And I thank you
From bringing me here
For showing me home
For singing these tears
Finally I've found
That I belong here
The heat and the sickliest
Sweet smelling sheets
That cling to the backs of my knees
And my feet
I'm drowning in time
To a desperate beat
And I thank you
From bringing me here
For showing me home
For singing these tears
Finally I've found
That I belong
Feels like home
I should have known
From my first breath
God send the only true friend
I call mine
Pretend that I'll make amends
The next time
Befriend the glorious end of the line
And I thank you
From bringing me here
For showing me home
For singing these tears
Finally I've found
That I belong here

Noch ein alter Song von 1975: Ralf McTell "Streets of London"
Have you seen the old man in the closed down market,
Kicking up the paper with his worn out shoes?
In his eyes you see no pride, hand held loosely at his side,
Yesterday's paper telling yesterday's news.
*So how can you tell me, you're lonely
And say for you that sun don't shine?
Let me take you by the hand and lead you through the streets of London,
I'll show you something to make you change your mind.*
Have you seen the old girl who walks the streets of London,
Dirt in her hair and her clothes in rags?
She's no time for talking, she just keeps right on walking,
Carrying her home in two carrier bags.
So how can you tell me, you're lonely...
(Repeat * )
In the all night café at quarter past eleven
Same old man sitting there on his own.
Looking at the world over the rim of his teacup.
Each tea lasts an hour and he wanders home alone.
So how can you tell me, you're lonely...
(Repeat * )
Have you seen the old man outside the seaman's mission,
memory fading with the medal ribbons that he wears?
In our winter city the rain cries a little pity
for one more forgotten hero and a world that doesn't care.
So how can you tell me, you're lonely...

Und noch einer, den ich total klasse finde: Don McLean "Vincent"
Starry, starry night
Paint your palette blue and grey
Look out on a summer's day
With eyes that know the darkness in my soul
Shadows on the hills
Sketch the trees and daffodils
Catch the breeze and the winter chills
In colours on the snowy linen land
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
how you suffered for your sanity
how you tried to set them free
They would not listen
They did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now
Starry, starry night
Flaming flowers that brightly blaze
Swirling clouds and violet haze
Reflect in Vincent's eyes of china blue
Colours changing hue
Morning fields of amber grain
Weathered faces lined in pain
Are soothed beneath the artists' loving hand
Now I understand
What you tried to say to me
how you suffered for your sanity
how you tried to set them free
They would not listen
They did not know how
Perhaps they'll listen now
For they could not love you
But still your love was true
And when no hope was left inside
On that starry, starry night
You took your life as lovers often do
But I could have told you Vincent
This world was never meant for one as beautiful as you
Starry, starry night
portraits hung in emty halls
frameless heads on nameless walls
with eyes that watch the world and can’t forget
Like the strangers that you've met
The ragged men in ragged clothes
The silver thorn of bloody rose
Lie crushed and broken on the virgin snow
Now I think I know
What you tried to say to me
And how you suffered for your sanity
And how you tried to set them free
They would not listen
They're not listening still
Perhaps they never will...

Alles etwas melancholisch heute...^^

Herbert Grönemeyer - Sie ( 1990 )
Herbert Grönemeyer - Sie
sie sieht in ihm den filmriß
das leben abrupt gestoppt
kann mit niemandem darüber reden
das macht sie bekloppt
es liegt ewigkeiten zurück
gelähmt, panisch als passiert es ihr jetzt
gegenwärtig sein stierer blick, seine fäuste
widerwärtig sein atem, gehetzt
sie hat versucht den traum zu reparieren
sich aus ihm zu befreien
sie hat lange verzweifelt gewartet
die jahre zeigen kein erbarmen
das heilt keine zeit
immer auf scherben laufen
schweigen ein zu schweres gewicht
ohnmächtig gegen den giganten
seine nächsten verrät man nicht
die nacht ist viel zu leise
die seele hämmert so laut
die vergangenheit kommt anfallartig
gebrochen an dem ekligen stau
sie hat versucht...
