I'm sorry it's so long guys!
I got to The Fillmore at about 530 pm and got in the line for the people with Ticketmaster tickets. It was super long but it was decent. It was very organized and the security was amazing! The security through the whole event was amazing! But anyways, after about 15-20 minutes it started moving pretty fast. Once people got to the corner by the venue, they separated people into a girl line and a boy line. I went in, had my ticket scanned, and was good to go. I heard that the boys were searched but I am not sure.
The hall itself was not huge. I was on the floor at the most 20 people away. It slowly filled up, as it got closer to 7. The boys were late getting onstage. The show finally started at 730. While waiting they would be random outbursts of screaming girls.
I honestly cannot remember the order of the songs right now. I am still in shock. It feels like this was a dream! All of them were amazing!! They are even better live! My camera is not the best so the sound of the videos will not be the best and the videos look like I am further away from the stage then I actually was. I was so close that it was unbelievable! I promised some people that I would video tape “Live Every Second” and I might have part of it but I am not sure. Tom moved to the other side of the stage and by the time I saw him I could tell he was “standing in between his v-guitar” (I hope that makes sense, I could not find the right words to describe it) and I do not think he danced with it. I could be wrong and missed it though. It seemed like the whole concert flew by! They started “By Your Side” and Bill said that it was the last song and everyone was sad. After that, they left and the crowd chanted encore and they came out and did “Rescue Me”. Then they left and we chanted encore yet again and they came back and did “Durch Den Monsun”. That was truly the encore. They sprayed water on the crowd a few times (I was hit by water from all the band members at least twice).
I saw a lot of girls fighting over a towel from one of the band members and quite a few parents and security rushed over trying to break it up. The crowd in general was all right. This was my first concert so I do not have anything to compare it to but it was tame. It was tightly packed and there was some pushing but nothing excessive. A few people had to leave but nothing extreme. By the end of the show, I was in about the 3rd row. I was so close to the boys when they sprayed water on us. Oh my goodness Tom is just wow!
So as I mentioned I have a lot of pictures and some vids that I need some help uploading. I was dead center and fairly close but the pictures do not look like it because my camera is kind of crappy and it was hard to get amazing pictures in that crowd. I do have quite a lot of Bill just because I was so centered that he was the easiest to capture. I am still in shock. This whole experience feels like a dream. I cannot believe I just saw them. It was my first concert and definitely an amazing and positive experience.
